Our district is located in the heart of our community. NVAS students regularly achieve above and beyond their same grade peers throughout the State of Michigan. Evidence of this is the National Blue Ribbon status of Norway Elementary School. At NVAS we focus on the whole child. Both Norway Elementary and Vulcan Middle school have been recognized as Showcase Schools by the Capturing Kids' Hearts organization (CKS). CKS is an internationally recognized program that teaches young people about the value of taking responsibility and being accountable for one's actions.

NVAS offers an array of academic and athletic opportunities for all students. We are very proud of our boy's varsity baseball team that reached the State Finals during the 2023-2024 school year. We look forward to the future for students in all their endeavors.
